Starting this new year, we are taking the time to see what ministries and opportunities the Lord is calling us to. He opened many doors last year, and we are praying about what is next. There is the possibility of 3 different teams coming this year, a Bible study starting in the village of San Pedro Cámara, and an opportunity to minister to the moms of the kids who have special needs. Please keep us in your prayers, and that the Holy Spirit would guide us as we start to plan some things out for the future.
Recently, we had the opportunity to take over youth night. It has been quite a while since Len and I did youth ministry together. I had the privilege of leading worship, and, of course, there were games! The theme of the night was spoons!!! So, for those who know our history with the original spoons game, of course, we played that one! But there were other fun games and competitions in which a spoon was incorporated in some way. They had a blast! Len shared a message about the three ways you can see yourself: how you see yourself, how others see you, or how God sees you. Such a powerful thing for youth to grasp at their age as they go through so many changes in this time of their lives. But I think the best part of the night was watching Noah translate for his dad. Noah is very fluent in Spanish (the best speaker in our family) and this was the first time he translated for Len with one of his teachings. He did a great job, and we are so very proud of him.
