DONATE CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES
It's been two years since we did the construction and switched out Len's office with the bathrooms at the church so the bathrooms could be downstairs. When it was done, we never finished Len's office upstairs. After being able to save up, we were blessed to be able to work on the upstairs and finish it, so now Len has a place to study and meet for counselling.
Seven weeks. That is how long Noah has been in the States. He left in September pursuing a U.S. online job that required him to be state-side during the training period. He plans to return before Thanksgiving, as we hope so too because we miss him. Starting in the last part of October, he was able to join the Missions Conference at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and share at some of the church services as well as CCA classes. He has enjoyed his time there, getting to know the other missionaries who are there as well, and will be there for his last night at the church on Nov. 4. If you would like to hear what he shared at the main campus this past Sunday, you can view it by clicking the link below. Noah shares from 30:40-36:00.

The students from San Pedro Cámara took their first English test. Asking the teacher (Natalie) many times to confirm that they were following the directions correctly, they were all a bit nervous and took their time to answer every question with care. The following week, they were excited to see their graded papers and how they did. The student with the highest grade of 94% received a prize. At the start of every class (while Noah is away), Natalie asks if any student needs prayer, and they begin the class with a prayer for the student and their prayer request, as well as for the class that morning. The usual prayer requests have been for their grandparents, due to a fall or in some way needing prayer to get better. Recently, when Natalie asked the student what he needed prayer for, he answered, "My grandparents." When Natalie asked what they needed prayer for, he replied, "They died." This was in the season of the Day of the Dead, when those who have passed away in your family are remembered. Natalie responded by saying how much he must miss them and to pray for peace for their family.
Next month, Calvary Chapel Motul will be going to San Pedro Cámara to give them Christmas shoeboxes. Our church body here will have the opportunity to donate toys, hygiene items, school supplies, etc., to pack into the boxes that we will wrap beautifully and present with the message of hope in Jesus Christ. But we also would like to give you the opportunity to help with donation that will go directly towards the items that will go in these boxes; please mark your donations as being for the "Christmas shoeboxes," and they will be used accordingly.
