HARD PRESSED

On July 31, Len's dad passed away.  Len and Noah were with him, along with Len's mom and sister.  We are very thankful that the Lord allowed Len and Noah to be with him in his last days.  The Lord also provided a way for Natalie and Caleb to fly there afterwards to be there with the family and attend the funeral officiated by Len.  It was a beautiful service, just like Len's dad would have wanted.  Thank you to those who have reached out to us in this difficult time.  If you would like to view the service, it is available to watch on YouTube by clicking the link below.

After a week of being in Florida with family, Natalie returned to Motul with both Noah and Caleb, leaving Len behind.  This month has been extremely difficult as we not only grieve the loss of Len's dad, but we do it while being apart.  This is the longest we have ever been away from each other.  Len stayed behind in Florida to help his mom and sister get things in order as they prepare to move to Mexico.  Natalie and our sons came back to Motul to continue with church ministry, to run the cafe, and for Caleb to start high school.  Len is still currently in Florida, continuing to complete all of the necessary tasks needed before their return on September 11.  Please continue to pray for us as we are both working hard apart from one another and look forward to the day we will be reunited.

This summer Caleb changed over to a new dojo for his kickboxing classes, and it has been a good change.  This month he was invited to participate in the belt exam, and he succeeded in obtaining his brown belt.  We are so proud of him!

The cafe ministry made a big change this month as we went from being open 6 nights a week to now only 3 nights a week on the weekend.  There were numerous reasons as to why it was necessary to make this change; and now, looking back at the timing of it all, the Lord knew that we would need it for such a time as this.

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
